This album starts with a beautiful, sorrowful tale of lovers separated across space. The imagery is so vivid and fantastic; the calls across space as part of the music further immerse the listener in this story.

From the very beginning, the vocal melodies are absolutely stunning. Every song's melodies stand out in some way, making each piece super memorable. As well as the vocals, there's plenty of great melodies for saxophone, piano, and synthesiser.

Really pretty sounds and instruments are used all over. It's not just synths and drum machines left right and centre. However, there are many of those still, and they certainly are pretty too. I just love and appreciate these saxophone, bass guitar and electric guitar parts very much. The songs are constantly alternating between electric bass and synth bass. It's nice to have both on the album, each playing excellent riffs that sit naturally in each song.
