The Australians are back: with "Currents" the long-awaited follow-up to the successful album "Lonerism" is finally on the shelves. In their home country, the band, founded in 2007, was already successful with the debut "Innerspeaker" from 2010, the worldwide breakthrough came two years later. The latest work is again deeply rooted in the 1960s and 1970s. Rock guitar sounds meet psychedelic wafting sound structures. "Currents" again offers psychedelic rock at its best - in the style of companions like MGMT or Temples.
