"Villains" is the seventh studio record of the stoner rock combo around Josh Homme and the eagerly awaited successor to "... Like Clockwork" from 2013. QotSA recorded a total of nine brand new songs at the end of last year, with none other than Mark Ronson (Lil Wayne, Robbie Williams, Adele, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney) as producer. The mixing was done by Alan Moulder.

The result shows that even an experienced and style-defining band like Queens Of The Stone Age can still develop their sound over the years.
