Paul De Margerie, who died in 1968 at the young age of 37, was a pianist, composer and arranger who worked with many of Quebec's best artists during his short life. On this, he handles all the arrangements and leads a star-studded jazz ensemble.

All in all, it's an impressive assemblage of Canadian (specifically, Quebecois) musical talent, and the end result is an album of impeccably-played instrumental jazz with a distinctly Francophone and Latin flavour.
